About this Pak-Lite

How to use

The White LED

When you flip the switch to the right position, you energize the Super Bright White LED. White light is great for out in the woods and general purpose illumination.

The Red LED

Flip the Pilot's switch to the left position to turn the Red LED on. This will illuminate the area around you without hindering your ability to see in the dark, and is bright enough to walk by.

The price includes a DURACELL 9v Alkaline battery. You may upgrade your included battery to an 9v Lithium battery, which supplies over double the burn time of an alkaline and works in sub-zero temperature.

Handy light

This is a handy light. The red light gives plenty of light to read a map or see where your walking. I think it would be good for using in car for a road trip at night. The red bulb is not as smooth and evenly distributing the light as the white bulb is but it is not to bad, I doubt many people would notice but I do and wish it was smoother. Overall I think it will be great for travel for instance if I am sharing a hotel room, I can use the red light at night to go to the restroom without waking anyone.
